Neuqua Valley Lacrosse
As the high school sports season winds down to the final games, Neuqua Valley boys lacrosse hoped to extend its historic run. The Wildcats made the state semi finals for the first time in program history after upsetting Grayslake North on Saturday, but 11-time state champion New Trier stood in the way with a trip to state on the line. The Trevians jumped out to a 6-2 lead after the first quarter, but Neuqua battled back to cut the lead down to just two. Despite the Wildcats best efforts, they were unable to catch up to the high powered New Trier offense. New Trier advances to the state title game after a 16-7 win. Neuqua Valley finishes the year with a record of 18 and 4.
